The Chez Moi Digital Launchpad
A certification and employment pathway for Haitian young people aging out of care — from The Knowledge Bank Foundation and the At Risk Children Foundation.
A Launchpad, Not a Waiting Room
The Launchpad is a partnership between The Knowledge Bank Foundation (TKBF) and the At Risk Children Foundation (ARCF) — the charity behind this cookbook.
Opening 3 October 2026, it converts rooms in ARCF’s Chez Moi house in Port-au-Prince into a working teaching lab: ten laptop stations at launch, twenty by the end of year one, serving 104 people — young people aged 16 to 24 who are aging out of ARCF’s care, plus the staff and teacher-trainees who will carry the program forward.
Students earn freeCodeCamp certifications in Responsive Web Design and English for Developers, build a public portfolio, and are referred to web development firms in Quebec. Chez Moi is where the program starts. ARCF’s larger Save the Kids’ Computer Lab at Custine is where it scales.
Every Copy Funds the Launchpad
C’est Si Bon! Haïtien Cuisine Cookbook is a collection of Haitian staples and delicacies, gathered by the At Risk Children Foundation and Save the Kids.
Proceeds from copies ordered through this page go to the Chez Moi Digital Launchpad — the laptops, the instructors and the certification fees that put an ARCF young person in front of an employer.
Choose the spiral-bound print edition, or download the digital edition instantly.
